In The Dark Knight, Batman continues his fight against crime. With the help of Lieutenant Jim Gordon and District Attorney, Harvey Dent, Batman seeks to destroy the remaining criminal organizations that control the streets of the city.
The partnership seems to be an effective until they are inserted in a reign of terror, unleashed by a brilliant mind, but criminal, known by the frightened citizens of Gotham as Joker. Heath Ledger is the villain Joker and Aaron Eckhart plays the role of District Attorney Harvey Dent.
