The latest adventure of Indiana Jones has its beginnings in the Southwest desert in 1957 – at the height of the Cold War.
Indy and his partner Mac (Ray Winstone) slipped through a little confrontation with evil Soviet agents in a remote airfield.
Now, Professor Jones returned home, the Marshall School – to discover that things were bad to worse.
His close friend and dean of the college (Jim Broadbent) explains that the recent activities of the Indy became suspicious and began to pressure the government educational institution for firing him.
When leaving the city, Indiana is the young and rebellious Mutt (Shia LaBeouf), which saves a grudge against the archaeologist adventurer, but he brings a proposal: he is on a mission to help Mutt intimately personal character, Indy may well do one of the most spectacular archaeological discoveries in history – the Crystal Skull of Akator, a legendary object of fascination, superstition and fear.
But when Indy and Mutt are directed to the most remote corners of Peru – a land of ancient tombs, forgotten explorers and a supposed city of gold – soon realize that they are not alone in its search.
The Soviet agents are also in pursuit of the Crystal Skull. The lead them is the iced and beautiful Irina Spalko (Cate Blanchett), an elite military unit whose travels the globe in search of the Crystal Skull, which believe can help the Soviets dominate the world … if you can unravel the its secrets.
Indy and Mutt must find a way to sidestep the ruthless Soviets, following a trail of impenetrable mystery, struggle with enemies and friends of questionable motives and, above all, prevent the powerful Crystal Skull fall into the hands more lethal.
